Borak Species

Borak are humanoid in form, equipped with two legs and two arms. Their siloxane-based muscles boast strength and heat resistance, making them powerful by the standards of carbon-based lifeforms. They breathe out Silicon Dioxide and require special respirators to prevent their exhalations from mixing with human-breathable air.

Notably, their infrared and potentially ultraviolet vision allows them to navigate their often radially hazardous environments, where visibility might be limited. The Borak also enjoy an extended lifespan—twice that of normal humans—thanks to silicon's stability in higher temperatures, resulting in improved resilience to aging and environmental stresses.
