Toractran Species
Toractrans are robust humanoids known for their exceptional strength and resilience. They are often employed as mine laborers and heavy troops in the Imperial Army. Standing just over 1 meter tall, these muscled, virtually hairless beings have thick skin that ranges in color from green to gray. They feature armor plates on their backs, forearms, and shins.
Adapted to their planet, Toracta, which has a gravity of 1.4 standard G, they possess agility equal to humans despite their stocky builds. Their communities thrive underground, consisting of vast tunnel complexes established to avoid predatory wildlife, including the fearsome rostanac, a massive creature known as the "Eater of Forests."
Sight is only in shades of gray. Sound is the primary sense for Toractrans, and they utilize early agricultural techniques such as growing fungi and raising large grubs within piles of waste. Their hardiness and adaptability play a vital role in the labor-intensive environment of their homeworld.
