Human Heavyworlder Species

Heavyworlders, often referred to simply as "heavies," are a genetically modified human variant specifically designed to thrive in high-gravity environments. Developed by the Terran Empire, these individuals possess remarkable physical adaptations that enable them to work and live comfortably on planets with intense gravitational forces.

Characterized by their thick-set and muscular build, Heavyworlders boast strong bones and high-pressure circulatory systems, allowing them to withstand the strain of elevated gravity. Their lungs are uniquely adapted to function efficiently in dense atmospheres, making them ideal for life on rugged, high-gravity worlds.

Many find their niche in demanding roles, excelling as soldiers, miners, engineers, and heavy laborers due to their enhanced strength and resilience.

In normal Human society, they often have difficulty fitting through doors, using equipment designed for standard-size Human hands,  and so forth (the GM may impose Skill Roll penalties for using some tools, if appropriate).

Heavyworlders are integral members of the Terran Empire, contributing significantly to the economy and labor force on various high-gravity planets. The Terran Empire has about 5 billion Heavies on a dozen planets.
