Note: To prevent characters routinely being too heavily protected, multiple layering in excess of 5 DEF will be reduced to 5 DEF.
Example: Wearing both a Kevlarite Undersuit (DEF 4) and a Flight Suit (2 DEF) would typically be 6 DEF, but it will only be treated as 5 DEF. Otherwise, characters may seem invulnerable in situations where they shouldn't be.
